Swirling the contents of the wineglass held loosely between his fingers, Sadi issued a short sigh as he leaned against the back wall, golden hues lazily trailing over the other current occupants of the room.
Raising the glass to his lips, he took a small sip of the wine - mentally noting that it wasn't bad for a mediocre red - before returning to swirling the liquid around the glass as he cast his attention back to the room - there had been a slight inkling within his mind that he might have recognised someone - but as he watched the room, followed the movements of the people, he found that he was merely looking over a sea of strangers.
Sea of strangers. How fitting.
Chuckling darkly to himself, Sadi lifted the glass to his lip and took a large mouthful of wine - savouring the almost metallic taste, wishing that he had thought to get the bloodwine instead. Shrugging his shoulders in defeat as he pushed away from the wall and headed towards the group of people loitering by a table - assuming that the small table was where the list was currently resting.
Gliding through the throng of bodies, Sadi placed his glass down upon the table with a small 'clink' and turned his attention to the form. Name. Number. Profile. Etc.
Lifting a slender brow as he lifted the pen and considered each answer thoughtfully, first things first, name; Sadi smiled to himself as he filled out the first box with his elegant looping script, writing his full name before adding at the side his given title: 'The Sadist.'
Moving the pen down to the next box, Sadi wrote down the number of his personal cellphone and continued onto the next question. Profile? Lifting the pen slowly before tapping it against his lips thoughtfully, there were many ways for him to describe himself and not many of them were good. Opting for a stalemate of sorts, he lowered the pen to the paper once again and allowed his flowing script to describe himself as it saw fit, temperament and looks first: Sadistic, tall, dark and handsome - handsome seemed to fit the bill here, he'd once been described as 'Cruel and unbearably beautiful, capable of seducing anything, and able to stir a deep primal fear with just one sleepy, glazed look,' but somehow that description wouldn't hold out here. This was a new place, no one would have heard of the famed reputation of his bedroom skills, the whispers of it as 'excruciating pleasure'. Shaking himself from his reverie he noted a few more choice phrases about himself before swiftly moving on.
Permission? Mentally brushing away the anger that had bubbled to the surface at that one question, before he attempted to brush away the feeling he might feel thereafter by adding a touch of humour: "Yes, the ego told me to go for it."
Sexual favours? Forcing himself to not heave a sigh of defeat, he noted down the answer before adding the usual warning he always gave about such things.
Lowering the pen, Sadi picked up his glass and took another drink before eyeing the form, a blank box at the bottom enticing him to add one final note. Switching the glass to his other hand, he lifted the pen again and wrote in his elegant script the line which those who had owned him before had used to entice potential buyers: 'I am The Sadist. Do with me as you will.'
Dropping the pen, he surveyed the completed form before sliding it across and dropping into into the sign-up box. Turning on his heel, Sadi strode towards the back of the room again, before finding a table and settling himself down.
Placing his glass of wine on the table as he reclined back against the chair, golden hues making a circuit of the room again. Draping his right arm over his bare stomach, he canted his head to the side as he fiddled with the stem of the wineglass. Sadi wasn't one for mingling, not yet anyway, so for now he was content to merely linger around the back of the room.

After I had put my name in the waiting list..... Waiting list. Who would ever thought there had to be a waiting list in order to go in an auction? I shrugged my shoulders as I watched others sign up for the auction as well.
My sire, Requiem, had found her beloved, her bonded mate here. After I had heard the auction was starting again, I had felt tingles go down my spine. What would it be like to be owned for a day, a week? I crossed my arms over my chest and felt my face start to heat. I wanted to try this just this once.
I never thought I really was submissive, but sometimes in fantasies..... I mentally shook myself. You don't even know if you will be bought yet, nevermind being a submissive partner. You're in a 'waiting list' for crying out loud! The voice in my head berated me.
I looked around at others around as I stood in the auction hall. Then my eye caught on someone. One hand rose to my throat as if to protect it for some odd reason. You're a vampire Ellora, no one can hurt you. Not the fact that he could hurt me but.... I lowered my eyes as I realized he was filling out a form for the slaves to be auctioned.
Damn it!
My hopes dwindled as I saw him turn after adding the form to the others. Not that I actually thought I would have a chance among all these other beautiful women or men here. I was still young, literally. I had maybe one other and that was a while ago and with a human.
But this vampire...man... both... could you call a man beautiful? Those fabled greek gods had nothing on him. He had a dangerous look to him. Or maybe it was just boredom? I stood rooted to the ground, my feet refusing to walk near him.
You don't belong in a place such as this! Who would even want you? I gritted my teeth ignoring the taunting in my head. I went over to a table and sat down. My fingers tapped against the table top, impatiently waiting. Fow what I had no clue.

Eyeing the remainder of his wine dubiously, Sadi swirled the contents around once more before raising the glass to his lips and draining the remaining contents. Placing the empty glass back on the table before turning his gaze back to the room.
Lifting a slender brow, almost in amusement, as his golden hues skipped over the woman loitering around the door. After finding nothing else to occupy his attention, he turned his head slowly and brought his attention back to the newcomer, somewhat recalling the split moment he'd seen her whilst he'd been filling out his entry. The woman had displayed an all-too-familiar action that seemed to accompany his presence, the wary feeling that they somehow needed to protect themselves.
Bringing himself back to the present, Sadi lifted his gaze to meet the woman's, a slender brow rising questionably.

Slowly, the shadows withdraw their fiery, yet icy presence from a slender form, her emerald eyes searching the faces in the room for a few moments before she raises her thin fingers to spider along a stray golden strand of her hair. The light tap of her black stiletto heels echoes within her own mind, though likely hidden in the noise of the room. She spots a lone pire sitting at a table in the back, her complete regard falling on him to study his movements before she approaches, her fragile hands gently grasping at the onyx silk of her gown.
Drawing a deep breath into her lungs, she savors the faint trace of mint riding on the inhalation, then releases her hold on the small amount of air. Curtsying in front of this pire a step or two from him, she lowers her pale eyelids briefly in a show of deference, rising up into a stable standing position after a few seconds, a soft whisper flitting out from between her full lips, "Greetings".

Sitting at the table, I was at, my attention seemed to wander back to that vampire again. He seemed to notice melooking at him and raised an eyebrow in my direction. The skin on the back of my neck rose and my breath seemed to escalate.
I noticed as a woman walked over to his table and curtsied before him. See? You're afraid. There was sly laughter in the voice. You should leave now before you get into something you will regret.
Those voices... They reminded me of those from my past. People who hated me because I was loved and cared for. I ignored that voice just like I did way back then. They were gone. Besides, I now faced rapists and murderers. Creatures who were more terrifying then the voice in my head.
I stood up on slightly shaky legs. I closed my eyes and took a couple deep breaths, breathing out slowly. Opening my eyes, I stepped away from the table I was sitting at and ventured closer to the vampire.

Toying with the stem of the wineglass once again, Sadi kept his eyes trained on the woman, watching as she walked away and sat at a table at the opposite side of the room from him.
Quirking both slender eyebrows up for a split second before he schooled his expression into its usual cold mask. Returning his attention to the empty wineglass, he stared at its lack of contents, mentally weighing the possibility of announcing his presence to more people in the process.
Just as he dashed away the thoughts of moving a shadow cast over Sadi, causing him to raise his head and catch sight of a Blonde-haired female curtsying before him.
Tilting his head to the side as he watched her, slender digits curling around the wineglass once again as he answered. "Evening."

"Do it, Becca! You know you want to!"
The girl looked at the boy sitting in front of her. He had a grin on his face as he stared at her. He didn't say anything, just stared. He knew what she was thinking. Rebecca swallowed hard. "Can't I back out?"
One of the girls rolled her eyes and mouthed the words to another: I told you so.
"Sure, no sweat. It's just a game," one of the other girls said with a smile. It was a cold smile the 'nice' people in school gave when they pitied or tried not to make fun of those who weren't 'in'.
Nodding, Rebecca stood up and walked away from the bottle pointing in her direction. She went to sit on a couch, still seeing the bottle glaring in her direction as another child took her place on the floor. The boy she had sat across from still stared at her until one of the girls took his attention away by kissing him right smack on the lips. He was an older boy, experienced at kissing among other things, Becca thought to herself.
'Fraidy cat..... The voice in her head told her.....
Shaking my head viciously, I summoned the harsh memory away. That voice liked to tear your insides, make you insane. I blinked a couple times as I realized I was standing in front of that vampire's table. There was a glass of water by one of the seat's so I grabbed it, drinking the clear liquid. I noticed my hand was shaking and I put the glass down. I should have put it down quieter, for it made a small clattering as the crystal made tinkling noises as it hit the table.

Stirring from where he had been loitering Irk tilts his head to the side, a rather bored expression affixed to his features. Allowing his cool lilac gaze to give a cursory glance over those present he dusts a speck of what’s most likely imaginary dust from the loose fitting blue shirt he wears. He had already signed himself up, everything having been prewritten with some help due to his illiteracy.
It didn’t take Irk long to figure out the gist of what was going on around him, the corner of his lips quirking up into a grin as he notes the attention the figure seated at the back of the room appears to be gaining from two females.
With a slight shake of his head Irk makes his way over with a slight detour past the bar, swiping something in passing. Hiding the object in question from sight he wraps his hand about it before completing his short journey over to Sadi’s table. Making as if to walk past Irk halts suddenly before slowly turning. That usual amused look finding it’s way onto his face as he folds his arms, overly dramatising looking the man up and down.
“Sadi, almost didn’t see you there” he now speaks, trying his best to make the words sound as plausible as possible though knowing he was all too obvious. This fact didn’t seem to bother him at all though, leaning forwards he makes as if to whisper in the mans ear though he doesn’t bother lowering the volume of his voice a notch. “If I was the type to presume, I’d think you’d been hiding” with a quick motion he places the object he’d been hiding behind Sadi’s ear. It turning out to be just a simple cocktail umbrella. Hooking a chair out with his foot Irk slips his slender frame down upon it, shaking his blonde hair out his eyes. Lilac eyes once more flicker as he looks between Sadi and the women standing by the table. “Not interrupting am I?” He arches a ‘brow with his words as he leans back on the chair casually, the ever present amused look still firmly in place with no obvious intentions of leaving.

Allowing a brief glance to the other woman, she smiles at the apparent shakyness before she whispers, "No need to be nervous dear" her slender right hand reaching out to gently touch the woman's shoulder. Returning her attention to the man at the table, she pauses for a moment or two to study his expression as another man joins him, a small look assuring her of the identity. Celeste brings her hands together in front of her, her voice calm and warm, "How are you this eve, sirs?" a tiny giggle emerging at the end of her question.
She pulls out a chair after a second, taking a seat carefully at the table, her onyx gown flowing down around her legs in a silken curtain. Raising her emerald gaze to the others settled there, she waits for a response while letting her thoughts flit around through her mind, arranging themselves in no particular order.

I jumped slightly at the woman's touch on my shoulder. Told you. 'Fraidy Cat "I-I'm sorry, this is just new for me," I said, feeling my face heat up. "A little nervous." I decided to shut up because I was just blabbering.
I saw another vampire sit next to the darker one who had these vibrant and odd colored eyes. I saw there was a cocktail umbrella behind the other vampire's ear. My lips quirked slightly and I had to cover my laugh with a cough to cover my amusement.

Having had his mind drifting off for a bit of time, Sadi was snapped back to reality by the sound of his name and an approaching figure.
"Sadi, almost didn’t see you there.” Raising his head and focusing his attention upon the newcomer just as their next words and action permeated his still resolve. “If I was the type to presume, I’d think you’d been hiding.”
Allowing his eyes to slip shut for a split second, Sadi drew in a deep breath before releasing the air slowly. Raising his head to survey the amused look of an old friend, he raised a slender brow in amusement.
"Irk Kuar, yes I'm certain that our meetings are as always incidental." Sadi purred aloud, lifting his hand to flick the cocktail umbrella from behind his ear, before he placed it within his empty glass. "Hiding from you? Whatever gave you that impression?"
Casting a side glance at the empty wine glass, and the umbrella, Sadi bit back the desire to sigh loudly. "You could have brought me a better gift, wine is always sufficient with me you know." “Not interrupting am I?” Irk's amused voice permeated his thoughts once again.
"You can never interrupt anything, Irk, you're too well versed about me to know that." Sadi stated plainly as he folded his arms over his bare chest.
Turning his attention back to the two women, Sadi inclined his head before replying quietly. "I am well, my lady, and may I inquire about yourself this fine eve?"
Flicking his gaze fully to the first woman whom had caught his eye, he eyed her for a moment as she attempted to hide her amusement.
"Such is the abandonment of friends, they show no shame of embarrasing one another." Sadi stated with a faint trace of a smile, golden hues flashing to Irk for a split second before returning to the woman.
Turning his attention to both women again as he inclined his head once more. "Forgive me, where are my manners today." Sadi purred, gaze flashing to Irk once again, before returning to the two ladies. "Evan Dae Sadi, at your pleasure."

Tilting his head to the side, Irk's lilac hues focused upon Sadi as he speaks. Fighting back the urge to roll his eyes Irk shakes his head at the mentioning of wine instead of his gift of a cocktail umbrella.
“But who else has ever gifted you with such a gift? It may not be worth quiet as much as wine to you but it has more thought behind it” once again he speaks precisely and slowly as if each word had to have its own special attention. “Isn’t there that saying…..it’s the thought that counts?”
As he finishes speaking he turns his attention to one of the women, the one who had enquired as to how they where. “Just dandy” he replies cheerfully “and I hope you yourself have no cause for complaint.” Turning his head slightly he turns his gaze to the other woman, giving a slight smile. He always liked to give a good first impression though he had the feeling had the feeling he wasn’t always successful.
Musing for a moment or so before he catches Sadi’s words, Irk allows himself a grin “so you do have manners, Sadi. Funny how you conveniently misplaced them in regards to my gift.”
Pushing himself back up from the chair he gives a put on sigh. “I suppose I could excuse myself for a moment and fetch you this wine that means so much to you.” With a grin he turns, heading back towards the bar. Squinting Irk eyes the labels upon the many bottles though the wording meant nothing to him. Attracting the bartenders’ attention Irk thinks for a moment before enquiring upon which wine he would suggest. At this the bartender produces a bottle of what he states is a very fine bloodwine. Irk wrinkles his nose for a moment before giving a shrug. He settles for this and asks for two glasses, one for himself of course. Watching as the bartender pours the glasses of said wine he gives a nod of his head “Thank you, sir” and takes the glasses up in his hands.
Approaching the table once more Irk sets a glass down upon its surface before Sadi and retakes his seat. His gaze flits between the women and Sadi as he checks to make sure he doesn’t interrupt any conversation that may be going on. “More to your liking?” the man arches a ‘brow in enquiry before turning his gaze down to his own drink. Eyeing it suspiciously though it was he himself who had just fetched it obviously.

I felt my smile slip a little at being chastised by Evan Dae Sadie's words. I shrugged it off as I noticed he had a slight smile on his face as he said them. After he gave his name I figured he would want mine and the woman's. "My name is Ellora Kavannah," I said softly.
I watched the two vampires speak to each other then the blonde one go up to the bar to get some wine. When he came back, I glanced at the bloodwine. I was slowly making myself blood and bloodwine from glasses but right now.... I sipped the water from my glass as it kept me calm.

With an amused look crossing her face, Ember watched the banter going on between the four vampires across the room. Two were male, the other two were female; potentials for slaves, potentials for masters as well. She tapped a claw on the bar, calling the waiter over to her so she could order a third double shot of vodka-- her third for the night and the final one of the evening.
Spinning around to listen, to watch, the corners of her lips quirked up into the smallest smile that gave her a cruel look. Her red eyes had the tiniest sparkle in them and the smile turned into more of a smirk the longer she listened. Interesting contention here for the most part. She supposed, picking up the shot that had been delivered quite quickly to her side.
The drink was in her hand, the liquid down her throat and burning her insides as it went, and then the glass was down again on the bar as quickly as it had been gotten. She crossed one leg over the other, still silently watching with that amused look on her face.

With her companion's lingering silence Josephine had made polite excuses to further wander and mingle. In truth she was nervous, beyond such a pale term as antsy. Her hands pressed to her belly as she worked to calm herself. Blivi wouldn't have allowed her to step into anything dangerous; no matter how curious she was. Her husband definately was fierce when it came to her safety, but then the warrior could not help himself. Lashes lowered for a moment as she took the next room in with brief glances. Irk, she recognized him from her few run ins while visiting with his wife.
There were others she didn't know, yet it was always a good idea to try and meet new people; well former people as the case maybe. Wandering here she stood out; not for overwhelming power, or a deep inner darkness. No, it was more the light cotton sundress she wore. Bright colors and hair artlessly combed and left fall in loose curls in careless dissarray.
Acer called her innocent and kitten; the titles suited her. Bright honey tinted eyes roamed as she drank in each sight. Her lips curved into that nervous smile that had her half nibbling on her lowerlip. At last deciding her course for the night she moved towards the bar. Nothing heavy, heavens knew she didn't want to be tipsy through the entire evening.
Having signed up earlier as a potential slave the questionaire had shocked her on some level. Harmless Blivi had told her, so long as she answered everything correctly. Some of the questions had been easily recorded, earning a quick smile; while others had brought blushes to her cheeks and hastily checked 'no' boxes.
For a moment she paused at the bar, offering a quick friendly smile to the vampiress sitting there. "Marvelous red eyes..." Josephine noted faintly before turning to place her order. Having learned the hard way what drinks worked best with her new constitution Josephine was picky on just what she ordered. The red wine would be just strong enough to help take the edge off her nerves and wouldn't upset her stomach enough to react with her nervousness.
Exchanging coin for drink she took a step away, leaving the space for any others to take. Absently she sipped at the wine, not gulping. It wasn't from manners or breeding; simply the fact she got hiccups if she drank too fast. Definately not the most elegant vampire out there; then again it saved her from taking herself too seriously.
