I had the opportunity to speak with one of the City's sexiest mean bastards. HolyWater-proof raincoat in place, I sat with Andre D'dary to discuss the latest events.
Ace Tiger: *Grabs up his notepad, flipping past the doodles of unmentionable stickfigure secks, and beams,* Alright then, Andre D'dary, we all know Jack Waffles' side of things. What have you got to say?
Andre D'dary: Well, it started when he referred to my sire, Sartori, as 'Sarwhori'. Sartori didn't like it, and decided that if he called him 'Sarwhori' again, he'd attack him. Jack did, so he called a couple of us together, me him and Icsis to be exact, and we hit him. Then Sartori sent out a message to the family saying that if we were friends with him that we didn't have to hit him, but that if he carried on annoying us he was fair game. Now, he sent me what I cosider a veiled threat in that he 'owes me a HW'. Me being me, I upped the stakes and now he owes me three.
Ace Tiger: Can we assume then that the fight is no longer about the dreaded Tori-nickname, but now a personal matter between yourself and Jack Waffles?
Andre D'dary: Yes, I suppose it is. As long as he keeps refferring to me as a 'piece of shite' and as long as he insists that he needs to burn me, the grudge will continue.
Andre D'dary: Although, I am hoping that the duel I have offered him will settle matters.
Ace Tiger: Ah! The duel! It's too the death yes? When is it to take place?
Ace Tiger: Well, to the zero at any rate.
Andre D'dary: Yes, duel to the zero. Playing by the old RBB ruling that anything under 10 pints is a zero. Well, I am not sure when the duel is to take place. He refuses to speak to me, which to my mind, makes me feel that he is scared and now in hiding
Ace Tiger: Has he moved yet since your last hit on him, and do you intend to simply keep hitting him if he does move?
Andre D'dary: It's dependent on if he actually wishes to duel. If he wants to duel, I won't hit him until the allocated time for the duel. If he doesn't show for the duel, then I shal keep hitting him until he is at zero.
Ace Tiger: And the rest of the D'dary's?
Andre D'dary: I think it's fairly obvious, really. Waffles offered his apology to Sartori, and he accepted it. No other D'dary has hit him since then, other than Tyra. And Tyra hit because she was bored, and will not be doing it again. I carried on the attack because I felt he had made a threat towards me. I respond to threats by attacking first and gaining a psychological advantage.
Ace Tiger: I take it an apology wouldn't end the feud?
Andre D'dary: Well, I did offer him that chance, actually, via Sartori who is acting as a middle man. Here's what he said:
Andre D'dary: (JackWaffles): "APOLOGY?"
(Jack Waffles): "He is the feckin' piece of shite who continues this.
(Jack Waffles): No offense to your blood line of course. He was most probably dropped on his head as a childe..."
Andre D'dary: So I guess I won't be getting one
Ace Tiger: How eloquent. *Nods and tucks his notebook away,* You'll let us know when the duel is to take place if he agrees to terms?
Andre D'dary: Of course. I have offered him at this kinda time tomorrow, then he stopped responding. So I, like you, am totally in the dark
Ace Tiger: Well, I wish you luck then.
Odds are stacked against Jack Waffles, he himself has stated he doesn't see a likelihood of himself coming out of this mess the winner in any way, shape, or form. For his part; Andre has admitted he will not be lowering his Blood Pints to Waffles' current number if a duel is had - stating that a Holy Water thrown by Jack would cause more damage with Andre's higher blood. Nevertheless, this entire incident does offer some insight to the 'new' D'dary way of thinking. I think many will be watching themselves carefully around the troupe, and especially around the newly rearisen Sartori.
