Recently I had a nice sit-down with one Jack Waffles. Of course, I taped the whole thing.
* Jack+Waffles walks into Ace's interview room, a bandage on his upper right arm, and some plaster on his left cheek. He doesn't look happy, though at the moment, he also looks a bit worried... *
<Jack+Waffles> Is that... chains on the wall?
<Jack+Waffles> And... a rack?
<Jack+Waffles> And thats a weird phallic shaped sculptu-... ohhh.
* Ace+Tiger glances side to side shiftily, clicking at his pen a few times as he clear his throat. "You can play with my toys -After- the interview. Sit!"
Jack+Waffles> Anyway. As most people know, I called Sartori by a name he wasn't crazy about. He said he's HW me if I called him it again. I did, and he did. Personally I thought it was a bit petty, but hey, more fool me if I didn't expect it.
* Ace+Tiger nods, scribbling furiously at his notebook. "So... you weren't upset to the initial attack?" *
<Jack+Waffles> I was a little pissed, because as I said, I thought it was a bit petty, but if that was it, I would've gotten over it 5 minutes later. I mean, after all, he just carried through a promise. Can't blame him for keeping his word.
<Jack+Waffles> No, that is not what I was upset about. In this whole debarcle, my former uncle has been the most honourable one.
* Ace+Tiger tips his head curiously, "Former uncle?" *
<Jack+Waffles> Before Sartori died, he was a childe of Cap. That in itself doesn't mean much... I mean every corner tramp is a childe of Cap. But he used to be friends with his sister, and my mother, Nae. I might note that whatever friendship that those two might have had seems to have evaporated with this whole situation. She aint too happy, though I've told my family to stay out of it all.
* Ace+Tiger offers a smile, "Alright. And what of the others who hit you?"
Jack+Waffles> Well, first Sartori and Andre hit me, I moved, Andre hit me, I hit Andre, Sartori hit me for hitting Andre. By then I found out that Sartori had told his family it was between him and myself, and we sat down to settle things. In the mean time, my ex-wife MiaRaeLyn, and Icsis also hit me, despite what Sartori had said. Mia I have talked to about it, and we have settled it all, though it has strained the friendship I thought we still had.
<Jack+Waffles> Icsis I have told to jump. That was all last night. I had thought that the matter was settled. I'd like to point out that I did make sure Andre knew that I owed him a HW, though revenge is not something I like to indulge in. Anyway... today Andre hit me, I stole some money from him (damn my kleptomania), Andre hit me again, I hit Andre (I'm sure he'll hit me again). And Tyra hit me.
Jack+Waffles sips the cup of water *
<Jack+Waffles> Tyra has since apologised for being over exuberant, so that is settled. Andre however seems intent on continuing this argument, despite what his father said. So much for the D'Dary's being honourable, I said.
* Ace+Tiger furrows his brows curiously, "So... what began as a dispute between yourself and Sartori has turned into a fight with Andre?" *
<Jack+Waffles> Apparently it is still between the entire clan, though Andre is the only one I have hit. Twice to his four.
Jack+Waffles> What really upsets me, is that I thought I had a good relationship with all the D'Darys... save Andre.
<Jack+Waffles> Its not a matter of, Sartori orders me dead, so be it. That would've been a totally differene kettle of fish... blood is thicker than water and all that. No... these are my friends... or former friends... hitting me without knowing the whole story, or even despite what Sartori said.
<Jack+Waffles> That is also why I have only hit Andre back. Because he has never been a friend of mine. And because he is the only one, bar Sartori, who has hit me more than once.
<Ace+Tiger> Do you suspect Sartori has actually called off the cease-fire?
Jack+Waffles> Honestly, no. I think if he had, he would've told me. Though who knows these days?
<Ace+Tiger> So what do you intend to do now?
<Jack+Waffles> I'd like this stupid argument to stop. Not so much for the blood, but because having 'friends' gang up on me hurts deeper. However, I will continue to hit Andre as long he hits me. And if I should die, so be it. I acted with honour.
<Ace+Tiger> Well, I guess we'll all have to wait and see what the D'dary's have in mind.
