Apprentice journalist, Jack Waffles here, reporting from near the Hall of Binding. Last night was supposed to be a night of joy, a night of happiness. Three couples came together in most unholy matrimony, most of whom should be familiar to our loyal readers. Seth Lomax and Raven Moon, Diabla Vampira and Vengeful Reaper, and Evil Drusilla and Lord Chaos, where the three happy pairs who married yesterday, all belonging to the family of Majica. The large family party moved out of the Hall after the weddings, and commenced their celebrations in the block next to the Hall. Of course, much fun was had.
However, as they slept there the night, a vampire, unhappy that his direct line of sight towards the Hall was blocked, decided to scroll the block, injuring and sending many of the party flying metres away. This vampire, who was can now identify as the notorious Lameth, was quite unwilling to take the short detour around, and decided to cause injury to the innocent well wishers. It is important to note that the party were not celebrating in the Hall, but in the next block.
The matriarch Majica was of course much displeased, and promptly burned the rogue scoundrel with a Holy Water. However, this prompted further declarations of right and threats of violence from the formerly zeroed vampire. "We were minding our own business... we weren't in the hall." said Majica, in the exclusive interview. "To scroll for the purpose of just clearing a square is ludicrous. How dare he... and it's obvious it was filled with my family members."
Time will only tell what will happen after this shocking incident, but there is already uproar throught the neighbourhood. This is Jack Waffles, reporting for Drip Red News.

I think the point is more a) he didn't want to go into that square, and b) he complained after he got HWed.

Jack great story..but just a correction....Diabla is bound to VengefulReaper and EvilDrusilla is bound to Lord Chaos. But there were enough of us around there that I suppose it was hard to see who was bound to who.

*giggles madly, holding her stomach*
Ohhh my... Tell me, why would someone waste HW for one little scroll? You lose ten pints... you lose a few AP because you have to move back... really, it's not much of a "weapon." I believe someone called it such in this situation... ;D

The use of a scroll without an apparent reason or cause is construed by most of the city as an unprovoked attack. Of course, you, Janus, being a cowar-... erm, being neutral, wouldn't understand that.

Yes, it is however. Unfortunate, that I gave a reason. Though, it was merely found unsuitable and Majica declared it my way of "justice" or what the hell ever. She proclaimed the HW as her justice, no matter really.

Of course, you, Janus, being a cowar-... erm, being neutral, wouldn't understand that. actually Andre, most pyres will question it, but not attack...I specifically remember being told a SoT was not considered attack when I first started out in this city UNLESS the same pyre does it more than once, or follows you around doing it...if I attacked everyone who had ever scrolled me...there'd be alot more dead pyres:P
I can understand not being happy because a wedding party was scrolled, but, if it was anywhere else in the city, almost no one would even care...

Lameth...
If it's no matter, really, then why bring it up hmMm?
Your reason didn't seem plausible to me as we weren't blocking the Hall or any other important structure. We were outside the Hall in a square of our own, celebrating the three family weddings of the day.
Because YOU didn't like it, and refused to take the side step, you took out a weapon and used it knowing full well it could cause damage, however slight, to those within the square.
Guess what dude? You did do damage and to many. Why? Because you chose to. You could have simply took the side step up above us, or beneath us. Any other avenue but through us. When you chose to do that, you opened up the door of consiquince for you. And now, because I stepped through that door and extracted my justice for the blood you took from my family you wanna boo hoo and call it unfair.
You told me if I didn't like it, to get out of the city. Well guess what dear. I'm still here and I certainly have no intention of going anywhere - anytime soon. Get over yourself already.

Hon, maybe you should take your own advice before preaching it out to others. Seriously, i'm glad you feel the need to make long paragraphs about me and how oh so absolutely horrible I am. But please, give it a rest. You were in my way, so I moved you. I offered to pay for damages, because obviously unlike yourself instead of demanding respect, I actually give it in return as well. Offered to apologize too, yet you continued to bring repeated convictions against myself. That is when you decided that apparently, my apologies weren't good enough and you attacked me. Quite frankly, I found and still -do- find that very childish. If you live in this city, I think you should know at some time, you might just get turned. Unless of course you've -never- been turned in the whole time you've been here.

Also, I do beleive that shaarinya mentioned above. She was told SoTur's were not weapons unless used more than once, or in a case where someone is following you around. Frankly, I was always told it wasn't a weapon unless under these conditions as well. So where you get off telling me -I- threw the first weapon, I have no clue. Aaaaanyways, it doesn't matter. I got through and got what you decided to call my "justice" and you got yours. Moving on.

She proclaimed the HW as her justice, no matter really. Consider yourself lucky. Scrolling a gathering of pires not occupying a building used to be an act of war.
