If you only had certain rooms with that restriction, yes. Otherwise it would probably end up being annoying.

Mmm yes it would be nice to have seperate rooms set aside with that restriction, but you also have to realise, what about the people recently slapped into torpor? Some may not be able to get back to 1k in the two weeks of torpor.. then again.. maybe it would make torpor mean something a lil different.... bah who am I kidding.

D has a point. Personally, I think it would be a great idea and needs to be implemented so that the chatrooms can be put to their original purpose, ie, furthering in-game relationships

Alpha has a good idea.
Don't change what rooms we already have, simply add a new room to the unmodded server, that requires a certain number of powers.
I would say BP count, but you have the Stamina quests, and people who just accumulate blood, never concerning themselves with powers....

By power would be better in my view - need to have a certain amount of powers to enter certain rooms.
If you say those in torpor shouldn't be talking anyway, you are touching on individual resting rules, which has not proven a healthy thing to do in the past.
