Testimonials
Coquette: Meli is one of the best friends I ever have had and ever will have. She's understanding, brilliant, and so much fun. I don't know anyone else who would get me drunk on a tavern lawn and then hold me up while I threw up on her friend. I don't know anyone else who would listen to countless hours of me whining about the men I fall for or the friends who hurt me, and then offer me honest and unbiased advice. She's a great listener, and a completely beautiful woman in every aspect of the word. I would never trust to confide in anyone but her, because she knows me and knows the right things to say, even when I don't want to hear them.
When I first met Meli, I was stunned by the grace with which she addressed every situation. I've never seen her lose her cool without just cause, yet she has so much more passion and charm in her little finger than most piresses contain in their entire body. Everything she does seems so calculated to me, but that kind of poise is just natural to her. She's fun, smart, sassy, and still composed. I'm very grateful to know her and have her as a part of my cherished circle of friends.
AcerNeros: Melisande is an amazing woman. She maintains a calm that surprises even me, the essence of calm, and she only rarely loses it when things surprise her. Her abilities extend beyond what most believe, and even then I know that she still hasn’t reached her full potential. She can, and will, be an absolutely amazing ‘piress, already is. I’d say that, if not for her, I’d have long since become the animal I promised myself I’d never be. She knows what to say, she knows how to listen, she knows what she’s doing. Melisande is, for lack of a better term, perfect in whatever she attempts or considers attempting.
It’s a privilege, honour, pleasure, and more importantly a delight to be around her and to have her close to you.

History
The story of Melisande Annushka Katarine Elana Seshen Kygnosti Wilde Alaran began in a small village in Lower Egypt, where a girl named Seshen was born. Dark-haired, but pale in comparison to those around her, with light eyes, Seshen was considered a rare beauty, touched by the gods, some said. This was in the time of the spread of the Persian army; Xerxes was in power, and there were trade routes and sentries all across the land, and for many years, it was good. Seshen spent her youth as a shrine maiden, serving in the local temple as all the girls of the village did. When Seshen turned sixteen, a group of Persians, enamoured by her beauty, sought to kidnap her. Seshen, however, managed to injure the men and escape. Enraged and embarrassed, the Persians demanded Seshen turn herself over to them, or the village would suffer. Forced to choose between saving herself and protecting the village, Seshen chose to go with them peacefully. True to their word, the Persians left the village in peace, Seshen in tow. Instead of having their way with her, the Persians brought Seshen to Babylon, where she was brought before Xerxes to answer for her crimes. Seeing that her beauty could be useful to him him, Xerxes left Seshen to be a part of his harem. Claiming that she was touched by the gods, Xerxes' mystics claimed her for themselves. Once in their grasp, the mystics used Seshen as an oracle, leaving her in a drugged haze most of the time. After three years of this, a visiting mystic warned of the coming of Alexander the Great and his army to Babylon. Fearing the revealing of their secrets, the mystics used Seshen's mind as a vessel for all of their knowledge. Combining together the limited power they all had, the mystics turned Seshen into a living statue, forcing her to live within her frozen body and sense the world go by, until someone could return and break the enchantment. Hidden away, Alexander and his men eventually found Seshen. Impressed by the craftsmanship, Alexander kept Seshen in the palace, thinking her nothing more than a statue. After Alexander's death, rumours began to circulate among the locals of Seshen's fate. For over a decade, mystics came and tried to break the enchantment on her. When nothing worked, the quest was abandoned and Seshen was left to decay. As the years went on, Seshen slept within her mind, waking twice a year to send out a mental cry for help. Finally, in the 1400s, her prayers and cries were answered. A man appeared and, speaking an ancient spell, released Seshen from her stone bondage, only to bind her again. After stripping the mystics' knowledge from her weakened mind, the man changed her weakened body from human to vampire. Using the knowledge he had stolen, the man cast another enchantment, changing Seshen to be the perfect thrall: any who drank of her blood would be in control of her, until her blood was diluted by the blood of five mortals. Taking her then, the vampire sold Seshen into slavery, with many other unlucky fledging vampires. Seshen's slavery lasted for the fifty years of her unlife, being used for blood, sex, torture, labour, anything her masters could think of. The constant drain from the enchantment left Seshen's mind in a broken state, truly turning her into a thrall. Finally, a vampire took interest in Seshen and, seeing her pitiful state of existence, took pity on her and bought her out of slavery. Fairly kind as vampires go, he took Seshen in and began the slow process of healing her body and mind of the damaged caused by the imprisonment in stone and the slavery. He traveled the world with her, teaching her how to be a vampire and trying to quench her insatiable need for knowledge. Seshen spent many decades trying to find the vampire that had turned her, but eventually gave up. In the 1600s, Seshen and her master were attacked by a group of vampire hunters. He was killed in front of her, tortured to death, even as she was tortured herself. Flying into a rage, she managed to escape, kill the hunters and escape. Half-dead and badly injured, Seshen hid, sleeping to recover for 20 years. Waking, Seshen traveled to France and worked as a harlot for blood and money. Working quickly, she soon entered Parisian society under the name Margaux Blanchard, with no past and the rumour of a rich patron. The pale makeup of the time allowed Seshen to move about more freely, her inability to go out in the sun written off as an eccentricity of the rich. While in Paris, Seshen met, courted, and 'married' her third master, Andre Renard, a Marquis in the French Court. Living rich until the French Revolution began, Seshen fled to England and made a small name for herself as a seamstress and herbwoman. Seshen stayed in and around England until 1850, where she relocated to Moscow for fifty years. Seshen then moved to Germany, but left quickly, fearing the rise of Hitler would put her in danger. Moving to Greece and then Italy, she watched World War I go by, keeping her nose out of it. Sleeping until the beginning of World War II, Seshen awoke, outraged at what she saw in the world. She tracked the armies of the Axis, attacking and decimating troops when she could. It was at this time that Seshen met and confronted the one who created her. They fought each other for the rest of the war, moving from battle to battle, trying to kill each other. That battle ended at Hiroshima, when Seshen managed to trap him long enough for the blast from the atomic bomb to destroy him. Seshen then spent the rest of her time in Japan helping to rebuild it, healing those she could, humanely killing those who suffered too badly from the radiation. She spent many years in Japan, helping to rebuild the country, after the war ended. In the 1960s, Seshen relocated to California, joining the hippie generation. She became an activist, rallying and lobbying, marching to Washington from Alabama. Seshen finally rested around Seattle in the 80s and 90s, staying out of the public eyes as she watched and learned, keeping up with the times. The new millennium saw Seshen traveling the United States with a new master, visiting the sites of the states as the went along.
Not long after, they parted ways and Seshen found RavenBlack City. She was first sired under Belthezzar, and then LilRaver, but has now found her place with her father, AcerNeros.
